The Living Well Sefton Carers Support Team here at the Carers Centre work in partnership with the Living Well Sefton service across the whole of Sefton to support the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of residents.
The Living Well Sefton service is co-ordinated by Sefton CVS and is comprised of the following partner organisations:
- Sefton Carers Centre
- Smoke Free Sefton
- Netherton Feelgood Factory
- Citizens Advice
- May Logan Healthy Living Centre
- Active Sefton
- Brighter Living Partnership
Living Well Sefton mentors across the partnership work on a one-to-one basis to identify where small changes can be made to have a big impact on improving health and wellbeing.
The Carers Centre team has a wide range of knowledge, and a wealth of experience of working with and supporting unpaid carers. In addition to one-to-one support, they can refer to courses and healthy lifestyle services including help to quit smoking, being more active, healthy eating, weight management and support to combat loneliness and isolation. The courses and health specific services take place at the Carers Centre and other LWS locations.
