Think Differently, Cope Differently
Fed up with what life is throwing at you? Want to change how you deal with situations? Then the Think Differently, Cope Differently course could be just what you need. Run over five weeks, by Living Well Sefton partners the course is for people experiencing anxiety, low mood or stress, and aims to inspire people to build resilience and give them the skills needed to cope with everyday living.
What is TDCD?
Many of us can develop unhealthy and negative ways of thinking and processing events in our lives. We tend to overlook our own strengths and achievements and instead we focus on what we can’t do and take sole responsibility when things go wrong. This is particularly common with Carers.
The Think Differently, Cope Differently training course is not counselling, instead it helps you to develop a more positive and healthy way of thinking, by using simple and effective skills which you will learn throughout the course, that will help you to take more control of your life.
The programme will help you to more effectively:
- Problem solve and set goals
- Build confidence
- Find ways of managing anxiety
- Identify your triggers to help prevent relapse
- Think positively
- Gain relaxation techniques that work for you
