Unfortunately, due to the service restrictions in place because of Covid-19 the Sefton Carers Centre Training Service is temporarily suspended - this means that all groups and courses held at the centre will not be going ahead until further notice.
However, we will be running courses on various online platforms - including:
Zoom - Wills, Trusts & Lasting Powers of Attorney.
(Monday 6 July at 2pm, Monday 20 July at 2pm, Monday 10 August at 2pm and Monday 24 August at 2pm.)
This course provides advice on the protection of assets and loved ones by the preparation of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Funeral Plans.
The course will cover the following issues:
How to protect your home and other assets from being used to fund long term care.
How to ensure your assets pass to your bloodline rather than to any potential ex-daughter or son in law or a new spouse should a surviving spouse re marry.
How to protect a vulnerable beneficiary who may have a disability.
How to reduce any inheritance tax liability.
How to ensure your loved ones can manage your property/financial and welfare affairs should you become unable to do so due to loss of mental capacity.
